My Journey

Forged deep inside the fires of the mountains of the Sauerland in 1977, I made my way through the blood of my enemies, to become the only English teacher. The Metal English Mastermind! 

After numerous battles, completing my studies of German Literature, Journalism, and Philosophy in 2006, I soldiered on to Poland to slay more beasts in the East, molding my bilingual status with a (then CPE) Cambridge C2 Proficiency certificate in 2006. But Odin called for more, so I hammered out my CELTA teaching certificate in 2010, at Bell Warsaw. Following the raven’s path, I took the longboat to Gaziantep, Turkey, where I spread the word at Zirve University. More battlegrounds followed with Oxford, UK, Rzeszow, PL, Birmingham, UK, Wroclaw, PL, Bloxham, UK, Ho Chi Minh City, VN, and again, Warsaw, PL. Sweeping through all opposing cohorts with a Blizzard of English. Teaching all – whimps and posers, heathens, believers, or the newly converted, the power and the might of the English language.
